Mad for Missoni Mare

As the Memorial Day holiday is right around the corner, I felt it only right to honor the unofficial start of summer with a few gorgeous suits from Missoni Mare.

Though I'll be spending mine in Boston having good times with great friends, these will have me thinking of sandy beaches and sunshine the entire time...

Pretty in Pink

Absolutely love Kate Foley's style...the perfect mixture of pretty and punk...definitely sweet, with just the right amount of  rough edge.

With that being so, it's only fitting that she is a buyer for Opening Ceremony, the fashion force and boutique with an almost cult-like following.

Seriously, who else could make pale pink hair so unbelievably chic?!

And that apartment...

Gilt + Nicola Formichetti

Gilt gets edgy with their Lady Gaga-based sale, which debuted today at noon.

In addition to offering downloads from Born This Way, not set to release until May 23rd, tickets to an album release party, a Thierry Mugler dress previously worn by the artist, and deals at Gaga-approved hotspots around NYC, Gilt is also offering looks specifically curated by Nicola Formichetti, Gaga's much touted and talked about stylist.

The looks from Formichetti's picks are absolutely insane...absolutely striking, 100% editorial....and 100% Gaga....a definite departure from the more commercial aesthetic Gilt typically portrays.

These shots could easily be at home in the pages of W or Vogue magazines, to name a few!

Spotlight On: Arnsdorf

Arnsdorf, a young line from New York-based Australian designer Jade Sarita Arnott, combines great tailoring with an amazing color palette and chic minimalism... and does so perfectly for the label's most recent collection.
I love the crisp, clean aesthetic of this line, and how versatile are the pieces?....gorgeous!

A few looks from the S/S 2011/2012 collection from Rosemount Australian Fashion Week:

Dancing Machine

This shirt from LA-based line Whitley Kros is absolutely hilarious...for those of you who don't know what it means, I suggest whipping out a French-English dictionary asap...love it!

Caged In

Though only on the scene since 2004, Alexander Wang is already arguably an iconic name in fashion, all but copyrighting the "off-duty model" aesthetic and downtown-chic vibe.

The ever-growing label is showing no signs of stopping, with the additions of footwear and handbag collections, as well as the T by Alexander Wang line, which focuses on casual basics.

Soon, a home collection will join the Alexander Wang label, and if his first-ever flagship store is any indication, it's sure to be deliberate, cool, decidedly downtown, and absolutely amazing...cannot wait to see!

C'est Chanel, Mon Cherie....

The Chanel Cruise 2012 collection debuted this week in Antibes, and the show was just as glamorous as it's French Riveria locale.

The pieces were every bit the jet-setting socialite character, and evoked the same type of blithe and carefree attitude...all in all, absolutely stunning!

Love the jacket used as a swimsuit cover-up...

A few of my favorites looks (so many to choose from!) below:
