Fall Frenzy: Alberta Ferretti

Italian model Mariacarla Boscono was tapped to star in yet another campaign for Fall 2013, this time for fellow compatriot Alberta Ferretti. Shot by Peter Lindbergh, the campaign takes on a romantic light, featuring the model throughout the streets of Paris. The collection's crystal embellishments,  tender fabrics and laces, and elegant silhouettes radiate against the night-time backdrop.

Fall Frenzy: Prada

Prada enlists a slew of top models, rising stars and fresh faces for their Fall 2013 ad campaign - eleven to be exact - including seasoned industry veterans Christy Turlington and Rachel Williams. The roster also includes Freja Beha Erichsen, Fei Fei Sun, Catherine McNeil, Sophia Ahrens, Malaika Firth, Kristine Froseth, Caroline de Maigret, Amanda Murphy, and Cameron Russell. Photographer Steven Meisel captures a polished, yet slightly saturated and disheveled, semblance through a captivating and somewhat dark, mysterious and alluring patrician ennui.

Like many other design houses, Prada also released a short video campaign featuring the collection earlier this month.

  

Fall Frenzy: DKNY/DKNY Jeans

Model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne, who starred in the Spring 2013 campaigns for the label, returns to the streets of New York for the Fall. Shot by photographer Mikael Jansson, Delevingne is featured in variety of looks and activities busy going about in the city, from downtown cool in West Village to urbane sophisticate - even pausing for a bit to cause a stir atop a taxi in Times Square.

Fall Frenzy: Marc Jacobs

For Fall 2013, Juergen Teller creates a dark, haunting and extraterrestrial-like atmosphere for the Marc Jacobs women's ready-to-wear collection's ad campaign. Models Edie Campbell and Lily McMenamy (daughter of supermodel and Vogue favorite, Kristen McMenamy) laze about the misty terrain unaffected, featuring the dark, choppy locks and kohl-smudged eyes as seen in the Fall 2013 runway show.

Fall Frenzy: Dior

The Dior Fall 2013 campaign has landed, featuring models Mariacarla Boscono and Elise Crombez. Shot by Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre, the ads utilize hard lighting to convey an air of mystery while showcasing the collection's decorous and refined aesthetic. In early June, Dior released a short video featuring the Fall 2013 ready-to-wear collection in motion at the opulent Palais Garnier opera house for their  online magazine - also directed by Vanderperre.

White Shoes To Wear Now

One trend that is all but inescapable for the season is a bright, white shoe.

Crisp and clean when against black and other neutrals, and fresh and seasonal when set with brights and prints, the shade du jour is not only versatile but also a modern classic. Espadrille and flat varieties look casual chic when paired with classic denim and tees - be it skinny jeans or cutoffs - while heeled options are a perfect accent to short suits, sleek asymmetric skirts and breezy maxi dresses. Bonus points if said maxi dress comes equipped with high slits for added drama...these shoes draw attention to the legs, so be sure to show them off! If the recent Resort shows were any indication, my guess is that this look will surely stick around for awhile.
